ABG Real Estate Group: YORCKS Düsseldorf Already Nearly 75 Percent Long-Term Let Before Completion

Düsseldorf, April 1 – Even before completion, nearly 75 percent of the space at the YORCKS Campus – a major revitalization and modernization project by the ABG Real Estate Group – has already been leased. Following the successful acquisition of the City of Düsseldorf’s Adult Education Center (VHS) as an anchor tenant with a long-term lease for around 16,000 sqm of the total approx. 28,600 sqm rental area, further agreements with renowned companies have now been signed. The first major construction phase will be completed and handed over to the City of Düsseldorf for VHS use in mid-2025.

The globally leading U.S. biotechnology company Bio-Techne is committing to the Düsseldorf location, securing approx. 1,120 sqm for more than ten years. The company develops innovative solutions for biomedical research, diagnostics, and cell and gene therapy.

AOK Rheinland/Hamburg, one of Germany’s largest statutory health insurers, is expanding its presence in Düsseldorf, leasing 440 sqm for ten years. The modern and innovative customer service center will strengthen its branch network in northern Düsseldorf and offer a contemporary work environment.

FitX, Germany’s second-largest fitness provider, reaffirms its commitment to YORCKS by extending its long-standing lease of approx. 2,500 sqm by over ten years and expanding its footprint to a total of 3,140 sqm. Additionally, the 24/7 fitness studio will undergo a comprehensive modernization, including a new interior design.

Park One, a leading parking operator, will manage around 400 parking spaces for a period of over 15 years. The garage features a state-of-the-art license plate recognition system for ticketless parking and includes 24 EV charging stations to support sustainable mobility.

This strong leasing performance highlights the appeal of YORCKS, with its campus-like atmosphere in the heart of Düsseldorf-Derendorf. With YORCKS, the ABG Real Estate Group is developing another forward-looking project that exemplifies the ESG-compliant transformation of a traditional office building into a vibrant and modern urban quarter. Full completion of the project is expected in 2026, with further tenants moving in gradually.
