The Smart Office development by ABG Real Estate Group together with bema Development GmbH comprises a contemporary office building on an almost 10,000 m² site in Airport City, Düsseldorf. The linear design by the Düsseldorf-based architects sop proposes two H-shaped building wings interconnected by glazed bridges. The 5-storey buildings comprising the complex are characterised by the portal which offers a clear view into the landscaped courtyard. Thanks to flexible floor layouts, it is possible to use Smart Office in all types of office formats from cellular to open-plan and open space concepts. The sustainable design and construction of the building has been awarded a preliminary DGNB Gold certification. Additionally the building meets the Wired Score Gold standard.
