Living Isar introduces a new residential and urban quarter in Munich's Untergiesing district. Developed on the former Osram site (32,000 square meters), the project includes approximately 423 apartments, around 100 of which are publicly subsidized, as well as commercial spaces and two daycare centers. The clean-lined design by Ortner & Ortner Baukunst, emphasizes a classic-modern architectural style. The arrangement of the building structures creates interesting sightlines and maximizes natural light, giving the quarter an open character that is unique for Munich.
The central green space of Living Isar forms a large public area between the building plots, offering high-quality recreational opportunities and connecting seamlessly to the Isar meadows.
