On May 27th, the foundation stone for the BERLINERHAUS in Wolfsburg was laid. By 2022, a 45-meter-high office tower and a stylish design-budget hotel will be built directly on the Berliner Brücke in a prominent downtown location.
With a total of 6,750 sqm of flexible office space spread over 12 full floors, the office tower not only offers state-of-the-art working environments, but also a unique view as far as the Wolfsburg castle and the AUTOSTADT. The ensemble is completed by two five-storey building blocks for hotel operations with a total of 260 rooms.
The starting signal for the construction of the new landmark ensemble was given by the two experienced joint venture partners, the ABG Real Estate Group and Hecker GmbH, together with Wolfsburg's Lord Mayor Klaus Mohrs.
The ceremony for this groundbreaking project also attracted a great deal of media attention.
