Silizium (the German word for silicon) is a semi-metal element whose name has become synonymous with the successful IT sector in Silicon Valley, California. In the same tradition, the Chinese telecommunications company Huawei Technologies is the principal tenant of the entire property on Hansaallee, where it has established its German headquarters in Silizium’s three building sections. The technology giant employs a staff of around 750 in the complex.
The gleaming white façade of the office building is broken up by the full-height windows and dominates the sight lines along Hansaallee. The office building has been awarded DGNB Bronze certification.
